Weigelia by Safely’s Mark, a winning son of Two-Time Leading Sire Danzig – his dam is Champion Sprinter Safely Kept, and is three-parts-brother to multiple graded stakes winner and successful regional sire, Partner’s Hero.
On the distaff side of Weigelia’s pedigree, he comes from an historic Calumet Farm family that also produced the immortal Citation, Filly Triple Crown heroine Davona Dale, and the Preakness Stakes victor Gate Dancer.
